So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17
What a full but blessed summer it was!
At the end of June, we had our award celebration for all those who attended our two children’s clubs and the winners who accomplished all their books and verses were awarded with a trip to Aquapark.
In July, we hosted a group from our home church, Grace Bible Church, which helped us with day camps and other ministries. Shortly after they left, another Sacramento group of 23 came for two weeks to help us run the teen/youth 6-day camps where we ministered to over 70+ children. With both groups that came we had a chance to visit different families, share the gospel, love the people in the church, and serve wherever the doors were open.
Five days after the group left, I flew to Poland for a week. I had a wonderful time serving with the ladies just as we served together two years ago working with Ukrainian refugees. They invited me to speak at a ladies’ gathering, and we had an amazing time praying, encouraging one another, hanging out with the youth they minister to, and exploring the city a little. I am so thankful for God’s blessing over that trip.
I arrived back in Georgia on August 30, just in time for our 4-day women’s retreat. It was hard work. We had two camps in one consisting of 37 women and 30+ children up to the age of 12, all of whom were unbelievers. In those four days, we were able to share the gospel through our morning and evening gatherings, and throughout the day, we were able to spoil the ladies by loving on them and their kids through workshops, crafts, games, beach, home spa, and having coffee/tea together.
Three hours after the women left, we welcomed 30+ teens for a 5-day camp. Followed by a 3-day retreat with our church fellowship. During the church retreat, Pastor Demna baptized 6 people. It is so encouraging to see God’s grace and faithfulness through the baptism and hearing the testimonies. Those souls are so precious to our hearts and it was a joy to see how God led them to church and slowly brought them to a saving faith.
Faith comes through hearing the word of God; please pray for them so that they will grow, mature, and spread the Good News of Jesus. He alone is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Those two months were beyond busy and full. We had many concerns and worried about how it will all unfold and play out with so many back-to-back events. But now, looking back, with a sigh of relief, we can say Thank You, Jesus – you were with us, giving us the strength, wisdom, energy, health, people, and finances we needed to accomplish all that was planned. Today, we can say it was all Jesus; He provided all we needed, and our hearts are beyond grateful for all He has done. We invite you to pray for all those seeds that were sowed. We pray that many more would come to the knowledge of Christ and dedicate their life to Jesus!
Thank you friends for ministering with us!
