Cherishing the Time of Christmas

For to us a child is born,
    to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon^[a] his shoulder,
    and his name shall be called^[b]
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Dear friends,

We hope you had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas with your family and loved ones. This is a special time when we can look to Jesus and reflect on the purpose of His coming into this world.

We were blessed with the opportunity to organize several events aimed at sharing God’s love. We hosted women’s gatherings and also organized a Christmas celebration for the children in our kids’ clubs.

On December 24, we gathered our neighbors at the place where our church usually meets to host a small celebration and share with them the hope we have in Jesus.

On December 29, we had a wonderful time with our little church, celebrating Christmas and the New Year together. After the church service, where we reflected on trusting the Lord like Joseph did and staying connected to Jesus and His Word to bear good fruit in 2025, we enjoyed lunch together, followed by games and laughter.
